Our sustainability mission starts right at our doorstep. We collect mixed plastic and put it through a transformation process of shearing, bonding and crafting within the factory walls to create an innovative fabric with superior durability - not only is this material brimful of eco-benefits but also produces sleek sneakers that you won't find anywhere else!
MAIZE "LEATHER"
Maize "leather" is an innovative and sustainable material at the core of LØCI's all new "Maize" product line-up, due to launch Spring '23.
Half of its composition comes from recycled maize waste. The process begins by breaking down glucose from the plant into monomers which then morphs into polymers to create our very own superpower fabric.
Ditch the animal hides and give your closet a modern makeover with 63% biodegradable, water-resistant maize leather! This natural material is not only stronger than traditional hide - it's easy to wash so you won't have any trouble keeping up its incredible quality over time.
100% NATURAL RUBBER
Our sneakers are the epitome of comfort and durability. Slip them on straight out of the box for instant ease, with soles crafted from renewable 100% natural rubber to flex smoothly against whatever life throws at you!
Our aim was to craft an eco-conscious sneaker sole which creates an environmentally-friendly product without sacrificing performance. Every pair of natural rubber outsoles are made from 100% natural rubber with recycled components -- so you can look good and feel even better knowing you're doing your part to reduce your impact on the planet.
You don't have to sacrifice any style points as these natural rubber outsoles won't let you down on comfort and support either.
